If you were shipwrecked on a deserted island, what is one item of comfort you would want to have with you?

Questions:

  1. What does uncertainty mean to you? What does your personal experience of uncertainty look like and feel like?
  2. Think of a trip or vacation when something didn't go as planned. What happened?
  3. What did you learn about yourself from experiences of uncertainty? What do you need to remind yourself about in order to navigate the next uncertain time?

Quotes:

"I want to get more comfortable being uncomfortable.

I want to get more confident being uncertain.

I don't want to shrink back just because something isn't easy.

I want to push back and make room in the area between I can and I can't."
–Kristin Armstrong (Olympic gold medalist)

"It's not about what happens, it's about how we relate to what happens."
–Kristin Neff
