River's East Village is 6 years old this year. We officially opened on March 7th, 2020 - right when Covid shut down almost everything. But we powered on, thanks to a lot of work recruiting volunteers and members before we actually opened. And now here we are today, over 60 members and almost as many volunteers! And although we provide many services to our members, helping them age in place, one of our biggest joys are seeing members and volunteers coming together to celebrate special events (and also coming together for other smaller events). Community matters so much in keeping us healthy and engaged.

 

Therefore, we cordially invite you to join us for our annual Anniversary Party on Saturday, March 14th from 10 am - 12 noon at the Milwaukie Community Center. We will be providing brunch, drinks and desserts, plus maybe a game with prizes. Who knows what else we might come up with, so you'll just have to join us to see!
